When The Heart Opens, Healing Begins

When The Heart Opens, Healing Begins

I’ve been exploring chakra healing lately. After a session of pranic healing, something shifted — not just in energy, but in how I understood myself. The more I worked with chakras, the more I realized that they’re not abstract concepts or “woo-woo” ideas. They’re reflections of how we live, feel, and express who we are.

Each chakra has its own voice, its own message:

  • Crown Chakra: “I understand.” It’s where awareness and connection to the universe begin.
  • Third Eye Chakra: “I see.” It’s clarity, intuition, and the ability to look beyond illusion.
  • Throat Chakra: “I speak.” The power of truth, expression, and communication.
  • Heart Chakra: “I love.” The space of compassion, empathy, and emotional openness.
  • Solar Plexus Chakra: “I do.” Confidence, self-worth, and the courage to act.
  • Emotional (Sacral) Chakra: “I feel.” The ability to experience, process, and release emotions.
  • Root Chakra: “I am.” The grounding truth that I exist — that I belong here.

When I began working with these, I realized something profound — most people, including myself, carry a blocked heart chakra.

The energy, as I feel it, flows from the top down. And when the heart blocks that flow, everything below it struggles. When the heart is closed, we stop allowing ourselves to feel deeply or share vulnerably. We fear being hurt, so we build walls — but those walls keep us from healing.

A blocked heart doesn’t just affect love; it affects confidence too. Because when the heart chakra shuts down, the solar plexus — the center of “I do” — starts to lose balance. You begin doubting yourself. You hesitate. You second-guess your every move. Slowly, confidence fades, and with it, the belief that you’re capable or worthy.

And then, the emotional (sacral) chakra follows. This one isn’t just about feeling emotions — it’s about processing them. Processing means giving emotions a chance to complete their journey — to be felt, expressed, and released. When that doesn’t happen, we carry emotional residue — half-healed wounds that keep replaying as patterns in our lives.

Through chakra work, I’ve learned that healing is not about “fixing” something broken — it’s about allowing energy to flow freely again. The moment you start opening your heart, the rest of you begins to align naturally. The voice gets clearer. The vision sharpens. The confidence returns. You start living with a deeper sense of peace — not because life becomes perfect, but because you stop fighting with yourself.

So if you’re feeling stuck, start with your heart. Let it love. Let it open. Let it be vulnerable. Because vulnerability isn’t weakness — it’s the birthplace of strength.

Open your heart to allow people in. Love freely. Be hurt again if that’s what it takes — because that’s what makes you human, that’s what makes you alive.

Healing is a journey — not a destination. These emotions you feel aren’t burdens; they’re teachers. Every tear, every ache, every breath carries wisdom. All your soul wants is the freedom to breathe again.

Let it.
Let your soul breathe.
Let your heart lead.
And watch how everything else slowly starts to fall into place.
